The Origins Of English Language

It´s estimated that 700 million people speak English around the world, gathering natives and the ones who use English as a second language. English is in everything: science, aviation, computing, diplomacy, tourism and that is the primary language of several countries.
The history of the language can be traced back to the arrival of three Germanic tribes to the Britsh Isles during the 5th Century AD. Angles, Saxons and Jutes crossed the North Sea from what is the present day Denmark and Northen Germany. The innabitants of Britain previously spoke a Celtic Language. This was quickly displaced. Most of the Celtic speakers were pushed into Wales, Cornwall and Scotland. One group migrated to the Brittany Coast of France, where their descendants still speak the Celtic Language of Breton today. The Anges were named from Engle, their land of origin. Their language was called Englisc, from which word English derives.
There are about 45 countries that have English as the official language. As, for example:
. Antigua
.Australia
.Bahamas
.Barbados
.Belize
.Bermuda
.Canada
.Dominica
.Grenada
.Guyana
.Ireland
.Jamaica
.New Zealand
.South Africa
.United Kingdon
.USA
